Press Release April 2012

Rev It Up for SickKids: Riding in support of the Hospital for Sick Children.

Toronto, ON Canada, April 13, 2012 – On July 15, 2012, motorcycle riders from across the Greater Toronto Area will gather and embark on a charitable ride to raise money for the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in the first annual Rev It Up for SickKids event.

Presented by Ride Motorcycles Toronto, a leading motorcycle dealership in the GTA, Rev It Up for SickKids combines a passion for motorcycling and the desire to help children in need. The ride’s goal is to unite bikers and bike enthusiasts on a collective journey to raise money for two crucial areas at the hospital, which includes cardiology and clinical research, specifically as it applies to oncology and brain tumours in children.

Participants will venture from Ride Motorcycles Toronto’s Vaughan dealership, through Toronto’s downtown core, along the scenic route around Lake Ontario and into the picturesque setting of the Niagara Escarpment. The ride ends at Vineland Estates Winery for lunch and live entertainment, followed by a wine tour and promotional draw for the chance to win a brand new 2011 MV Augusta Brutale R motorcycle. Proceeds raised from the draw will directly benefit the SickKids Foundation.

Every year, thousands of families turn to SickKids for the best treatment. This event hopes to raise awareness and vital funds that will provide the necessary care children deserve. Every child has the right to be healthy, and Rev It Up for SickKids wants to make that a reality.
