Press Release June 2013

Rev It Up for SickKids: Riding in support of the Hospital for Sick Children.

Toronto, ON Canada, June 5, 2013 – On July 14th, 2013, Rev it Up For SickKids will host its second annual motorcycle ride. This year’s route will take us from Ride Motorcycles in Vaughan to the breathtaking Blue Mountain Village, where riders, passengers and supporters will enjoy lunch at Rusty’s.

This year you can participate in more ways than one.

You can ride with us on your motorcycle or as a passenger with your favourite biker. We will charter a party bus, which will allow you to ride along the motorcade of bikes and promises to be a lot of fun. Any way you choose to join is sure to offer a rewarding day full of fun and exhilaration.

Rev It Up needs your support. During our Night in Red Launch Party this past spring, we announced our $500,000 commitment to the SickKids Foundation. These funds will be used to purchase NIRS equipment — leading-edge technology used to measure oxygen levels in various parts of a patient’s body and monitor the effectiveness of a child’s heart.
