Join Jeremy, Jazzy and Jaxon Bieber on July 20, 2014!
TORONTO, ON – We Biebelieve that kids can make a difference and Jeremy Bieber knows this better than most. The Bieber family has joined with The Rev It Up for SickKids team to raise money and make a difference in the lives of sick children.
Jazzy and Jaxon Bieber have become Rev It Up Ambassadors and will be joining the riders and participants on July 20, 2014, helping SickKids one ride at a time! Big brother Justin is also lending his support by raising awareness of the cause through his social media network.
In order to achieve the $500,000 commitment made by the the Rev It Up for SickKids Board of Directors to the Hospital for Sick Kids to purchase the NIRS (Near Infrared Spectroscopy Technology) the Bieber family has been tweeting out messages asking their fans to donate to this very worthy.
This remarkable piece of equipment is used to measure oxygen levels throughout the body and ultimately monitoring the effectiveness of a child’s heart. One of the greatest advantages of the equipment is that it is nonintrusive. Blood transfusions will be required less often and these machines assist in monitoring children on life support and heart-by-pass machines.
As an extension on their focus on cardiology, Rev It Up for SickKids remains committed to supporting Camp Oki, a summer camp for SickKids cardiac patients, under the direction of Dr. Joel Kirsh. Lucas went to Camp Oki last year and returned a changed boy; he came back with more confidence and spent a week with children that have the same scar!
The 2014 goal for Rev It Up for SickKids is to raise over $100,000.00 and 100% of all proceeds go towards SickKids Hospital.

The Rev It Up for SickKids route will start off at the RE/MAX PREMIER INC. on the southwest corner of Jane and Rutherford making their way to the Hospital for Sick Kids and finally to the Turnberry Golf Club where the festivities will continue with live music food and drinks. Raise and or donate $250 for the bus plus one child can come for free. What a great day of fun at the same time as helping children at the SickKids Hospital. If people are unable to join the ride this year, Rev It Up for SickKids hopes is that everyone will make a pledge which will go toward our goal.
